After recently announcing a new content deal with Spin games which will see the pair integrate their remote game servers, gaming Realm has now released their figures for the 2016 year. Their mobile games have done amazingly well in recent times as well as the other services they provide, they have also seen incredible growth in the past couple of year. With revenue growth of around 60% being reported by the company, there is no doubt that 2016 has been a great year for them and we hope this success continues into the New Year!
Gaming realm confirmed that it made profits of 34 million pounds in 2016 which is massive when compared to the smaller 21.2 million that was made in 2015. Their CEO Patrick Southron is more than happy with all the progress that was made in not just 2016 but all the recent years. He said “2016 has been another year of progress for Gaming Realms, with rapidly growing revenues, reduced losses and EBITDA positive in H2. Having scaled the business our plan is to be profitable in 2017 by continuing to drive top line growth and allocating our capital towards real money gaming and content licensing, the most profitable parts of our business”
Their real money gaming revenue has taken massive steps forward in recent years, moving from 10.8 million pounds in 2015 to 21.5m in 2016. That is an unbelievable rise of 1005 on the previous year’s numbers. Licensing revenue also took major steps forward increasing by a truly astonishing 700%. This is mainly due to some massive deals with Scientific games and Zynga. They have also won the 1000 companies to inspire award which is an annual celebration with some of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies across Britain!
